We live in extraordinary times. Whether or not AI comes to be seen as being as iconic as the printing press, we can all agree that change is happening at a boggling-of-the-mind rate.

We’re lucky to be in the midst of it all.

While we wouldn’t be so bold as to suggest we’re making history, many of our clients are.

We love our work, and we love making a demonstrable difference to our clients – whether they’re a big beast of a blue chip, or a hungry start-up galloping towards mystical unicorn status, with the whip hand of strategic, creative and proven marketing adding momentum.

The Team

Our business is built around a core of senior people, complemented by a bench bursting with vibrant creatives, technologists, writers of all genres, and digitalists (is that a thing?). People we hand-pick to create cross-functional teams for clients for every project.

We’ve built our business this way to answer the age-old question: can a full-service agency excel across the board? Emphatically, we say, yes it can.

Our people have led big agencies in London and New York.

Some have worked for major brands. And some are those wonderfully charismatic creatives who fit no box and do their own thing.

What unites them is curiosity. A love of great work. And their expertise: expertise that ensures excellence, always.

Whatever marketing opportunity you face, drop us a line – we’re here to help you seize it.

The Backstory

Everyone’s got a Backstory — Ours Starts in 1994

When Mandela became president. Kurt Cobain sadly joined the 27 club. Playstation 1 dropped. The first smartphone was sold (the IBM Simon in case you’re wondering). When you were team Damon or team Liam. And Tim and Mark, promised one another on graduation day, with mortar boards balanced atop big hairdos, that one day they would run an agency.

That promise may or may not have been the biggest event of the year (we’ll let you decide).

Early in their careers, they worked in major agencies.

Mark stayed in the machine for more than two decades, including in-house comms director roles in retail and telecoms and stints at network agencies, while Tim left the corporate world in 2003.

He was the head of strategy at a major PR agency at the time and was invited to investigate pastures new (they lacked creativity). Tim won Pioneer and Motorola as clients, going on to set up and run the successful marketing agency, The Wordworks.

Today, Tim and Mark set out to take everything that’s good from the big agency world and infuse it with the dynamism, optimism and energy that comes from being a leaner, hungrier and younger agency operation.

Peanut butter. Choco chip. Cranberry. Oat. Raisin. Cookies, we love them. (Someone let the copywriter freewheel on this one). Alas, these data cookies aren’t the doughy ones. While they’re not the snooping kind that lay the crumbs to follow you around the web, we may use the data they trail to help us improve this site for visitors like you. You can thumbs-up. Or if you’re so inclined, relive the end for Maximus, and give them a thumbs down.
